House Judiciary Committee chairman Rep. James Jordan is demanding an answer from the FBI. He wants to know why Director Christopher Wray waited 890 days to launch an investigation into the January 6 pipe bombing.
The FBI’s “investigation” into finding the bomber who placed pipe bombs outside both the Republican National Committee and Democratic National Committee headquarters seems to have yielded no useful results.
While the FBI promised no rock would be left unturned, even with sophisticated instruments and forensics, and despite the bomber being caught on camera, the endless manhunt continues.
On January 6, Karlin Younger notified security guards about odd devices placed at the RNC headquarters while on a trip to do laundry at 1 p.m. This happened just as Congress debated the results of the Electoral College.
A similar device was located outside of the DNC facility after law enforcement was notified by Rep. Elaine Luria (D-VA).
The progressive media was the first to assume the attempted pipe bomb attack was coordinated by an individual loyal to Trump and angered by the election results.
The bombs were observed to have been planted on January 5, a day before the events at Capitol Hill. Also, the bombs used a kitchen timer that would not have gone off on January 6.
FBI Field Office chief Steven D’Antuono and U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Michael Sherwin, in a press conference on January 12, admitted just how dangerous the devices were, stating they had actual ignitions within them.
After the passing of two years, the FBI finally announced a $50,000 reward for any information about the bomber.
D’Antuono’s desperate plea is paradoxical. The FBI has various surveillance technologies, whether it be forensics or geofence warrants, a tool that would have easily found such a suspect.
Further, during testimony before the House Judiciary Committee, D’Antuono said the FBI is completely unaware of the bomber’s gender, let alone any cell phone data that was not supposedly “corrupted.”
Recently, a whistleblower came forth before Rep. Jordan to reveal the FBI was withholding information, stating the agency failed to sufficiently answer Rep. Bill Posey (R-FL) on the matter.
