Disney dug itself into a hole when it started wading into political and cultural issues. For quite some time, the company was universally loved for creating fairy tales and happy endings that children enjoyed.

Yet, for reasons that still remain a mystery, Disney chose to go on the record opposing commonsense parental rights legislation in Florida. Then, it further dug a hole for itself by putting sexual and other inappropriate themes into its shows and movies for children.

As a result of this, Disney lost the special privileges it enjoyed in Florida. Now, the Gateway Pundit reports that Disney also isn’t doing too well at the box office, either.

So far, Disney’s taken a nearly $900 million loss on the past eight films to go to the box office. This includes movies such as The Little Mermaid, Thor: Love and Thunder, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, etc.

Of course, Disney cannot continue on this trajectory without completely imploding as a company. Pouring hundreds of millions of dollars into films isn’t feasible without a considerable return on investment, something that Disney’s been lacking for quite some time.

On social media, critics are pointing out that Disney did this to itself. Where the company goes next is anyone’s guess. Though its better days appear very much behind it.

Had Disney not embraced leftism and simply stuck to creating clean, innocent content for kids, it likely wouldn’t be in its current predicament.

The more Disney continues to struggle and bomb at the box office, the less likely it is to be able to turn things around or do damage control.

When the company first went down the road of left-wing ideology, some of the shareholders warned it wouldn’t pan out well. Now, Disney has to live with the consequences of its own choices.
