Silence seems to envelop disinformation specialists, following revelations that the Biden campaign played a role in instigating a letter signed by 51 intelligence officers.

This letter sought to cast doubt on the legitimacy of the Hunter Biden laptop story leading up to the 2020 presidential race.

Michael Morrell, ex-deputy director of the CIA, revealed during a House Judiciary Committee hearing that conversations with Anthony Blinken, then a senior advisor for the Biden campaign and current Secretary of State, “triggered” the letter.

This letter compared the laptop story to a potential “Russian information operation.”

Despite numerous attempts by the Daily Caller News Foundation to obtain comments from various groups and individuals dedicated to investigating and debunking “disinformation,” no responses were forthcoming.

The silence raises questions about the Biden campaign’s possible involvement in spreading misinformation and whether prior efforts to suppress the story should be viewed with skepticism.

Tom Jones, president of the American Accountability Foundation, expressed his concerns, saying, “Joe Biden — or perhaps more accurately, his advisors — orchestrated one of the most controversial election year disinformation campaign efforts since Hillary Clinton’s scandal a few years earlier.

The conduct of Democrats turned the US intelligence community, Big Tech, security experts, think tanks, and the media into figures of ridicule, as they try to hide their own transgressions. The farcical nature of their actions has become increasingly apparent.”

He continued, “The silence from the so-called ‘disinformation experts’ only serves to involve them in this farcical display. If these elites are curious about why the American public no longer trusts them, they should take a long, hard look in the mirror.”

The 51 former intelligence officials who publicly questioned The Post’s Hunter Biden laptop stories in a letter seemed determined to ensure Joe Biden’s election as president.

Over a year later, despite mounting evidence that their claims were unfounded, they have yet to admit to their role in influencing the election.
