Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis continues to campaign in the 2024 presidential election.

DeSantis makes the case that based on his track record as governor, he’s in the best possible position to secure the GOP nomination, defeat Joe Biden, and deliver policy wins in the White House.

As he campaigns for office, DeSantis is also directly up against former President Trump, who also wants to secure the Republican Party’s nomination in 2024.

In interviews, DeSantis has brushed off criticism from Trump, while also expressing where he believes the former president fell short.

Now, DeSantis’ fundraising numbers are in. To say they are raising some eyebrows would be an understatement, according to CNBC.

Within six weeks since the launch of his presidential campaign, DeSantis raked in an impressive $20 million. Meanwhile, Never Back Down, a PAC supporting the Florida governor’s 2024 White House run, also pulled in $130 million since it was founded.

Though the $20 million that went towards DeSantis’ presidential campaign within a six-week timeframe is being campared to former President Trump’s own campaign.

That’s because in the initial two quarters since the Trump 2024 campaign’s inception, the former president is on the record of only bringing in $18.3 million.

On social media, DeSantis supporters maintain that the Florida governor’s fundraising numbers stand as proof of GOP voters and others rallying behind him.

In the coming weeks, DeSantis and other Republican candidates will continue making their cases to voters. Next month is also when the first GOP primary debate will take place, with Fox News hosting it.

Time will tell if the DeSantis presidential campaign continues raking in enviable donations.

Likewise, Republicans will also have many more months to learn more about the Florida governor, take note of who endorses him, and otherwise decide who they want to be the 2024 nominee.
