Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ presidential campaign is a clear threat to far-left activists who don’t want anyone getting in the way of their policies.
Since DeSantis started his campaign for the White House, many folks on the left-wing have been clear they don’t want him to secure the Republican nomination. There were also doubts raised about how Joe Biden would do in a hypothetical election against DeSantis.
Meanwhile, the Florida governor and his team continue working hard in order to win this primary and eventually obtain a victory in the general election.
One far-left Florida lawmaker doesn’t like this and is now lashing out against DeSantis, according to the Gateway Pundit.
While attending the Netroots Nation conference days ago, left-wing state Rep. Maxwell Frost called the Florida governor a “f*cking fascist.” Frost would then go on to say that DeSantis is only part of a larger “apparatus” of what he believes to be fascists.
This isn’t the first left-wing attack against DeSantis and it likely won’t be the last. However, what Frost is missing is there’s a reason why Floridians reelected DeSantis last year. The governor’s 2022 win also far surpassed the election victory he secured in 2018.
As DeSantis continues campaigning for the GOP’s nomination in 2024, Americans can expect him to keep coming under fire from the far-left.
Even before the Florida governor jumped into the presidential election, he was constantly taking body blows from Democrats that wanted to push their own agendas.
So far, DeSantis hasn’t issued a public response to Frost. Though, the Florida governor continues to stay on the campaign trail, letting voters know what he brings to the table and why they should elect him.
Next month, voters will get an even closer look at DeSantis as he participates in the first 2024 GOP primary debate.
