On camera, the deputy president of South Africa’s security guards is shown pulling a man from his vehicle and stomping on the man’s head until he ceases to move.
According to reports, the assault happened on the important N1 Highway that connects Pretoria and Johannesburg. In addition, a third man can be seen on the roadside and in the footage. Then, a woman can be seen getting out of the victim’s car.
The men shown on film hitting bystanders are members of deputy president Paul Mashatile’s security detail, according to The Sowetan.
According to spokeswoman Vukani Mde, Mashatile wasn’t around and hadn’t been made aware of the occurrence until the video surfaced.
The policemen will not be arrested, according to Brigadier Athlenda Mathe, a spokesperson for the country’s police, but rather “subjected to internal processes.”
According to Mathe, the victims of this occurrence have also been located and are being questioned by the South African Police Service.
President Cyril Ramaphosa demanded a restoration to the aggressiveness of the ANC Youth League of the 1944 era, to return to the radicalism of the ANCYL of the 1980s and 1990s on July 2.
He said he doesn’t want to witness a submissive ANCYL throughout a revolution.
On a recent journey to mediate peace in Ukraine, corrupt President Cyril Ramaphosa humiliated himself when Polish authorities wouldn’t let his 120 henchmen and 100 containers of ammunition and arms get off the aircraft in Warsaw.
This is reportedly how ANC leaders commute.
As a South African, this author can confirm that assaults by law enforcement officers, such as the one committed on the N1, are a common occurrence. South Africans live in fear of being stopped by police at night or of encountering the police at all.
Every South African knows another South African who had a traumatic encounter with law enforcement.
A common occurrence is gangs of cops in plain clothes committing armed robberies of homes during load shedding (scheduled electricity blackouts).
