A Democratic state senator in Rhode Island made a total fool out of himself after keying the car of a supporter of former President Trump, which featured a “Biden Sucks” bumper sticker.
He ended up then getting arrested after lying about his misdeed.
The insane levels of radical partisanship exhibited by the left have been astounding – as the case in Rhode Island clearly indicates.
69-year-old Joshua Miller, a Rhode Island Democratic state senator for Cranston and Providence, has been busted on charges of malicious property injury and vandalism.
This comes after he deliberately defaced a man’s SUV because the vehicle was carrying a bumper sticker with an anti-Biden message.
The incident happened in the parking lot of the Garden City Shopping Center in Cranston, Rhode Island, reports WJAR News, a Providence-based news outlet.
According to witnesses on the scene, they heard a strong scratching sound while going back to their cars after shopping. The victim himself called the Cranston police after discovering the vandalism.
According to the Rhode Island Current, the police found a “single long scratch mark” that was left by the Democratic senator on the back passenger door. In the rear window, the SUV had a sticker reading, “Biden Sucks.”
Miller was discovered in Garden City about two hours after the complaint was filed. He was wearing the same clothes as described by the witnesses, but he put his jacket in a bag.
The Democratic state senator, at first, denied causing any damage to the SUV. He claimed the vehicle’s owner chased him and threatened him verbally. He described the car owner as one of the “gun nuts.”
He was arrested later at his home after the police reviewed shopping mall footage that he actually keyed the Biden Sucks SUV. Miller tried to justify his actions by saying the car owner had been shouting at him and also “dared him” to scratch his car.
He is due to be arraigned on July 18 and was released on $1,000 bail.
