The DC Metropolitan Police seem to be siding with abortion thugs who assaulted pro-life protesters over the weekend by refusing to press charges against the former.

The latest outrage in which peaceful pro-life supporters were violently victimized by leftist criminals occurred on Saturday in the nation’s capital, Tampa Free Press reports.

A protester from the Progressive Anti-Abortion Union (PAAU) was demonstrating in front of a clinic of Planned Parenthood when she was assailed by a man and a woman.

The male thug wearing a blue-orange shirt attacked Terrisa Bukovinac, the group’s founder, who posted a video of the assault on Twitter.

At the same time, the female aggressor wearing a white shirt was busy yelling, tussling with other pro-life protesters, and hurling abuse.

Against that backdrop, two “clinic escorts” are seen in the video allegedly trying to stop the violence from their organization’s supporters.

Violence against Americans with enough integrity to defend the most defenseless, unborn babies, has spiked since June 2022. This is when the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade and sent the issue of abortion back to the states.

In her Twitter post, Bukovinac announced the DC Metropolitan Police Department refused to pursue charges against the two attackers.

A specific explanation of why the police in the nation’s capital decided to defend apparent criminals was not provided, but it remains an easy guess.

Democrat-run states and counties nationwide are increasingly pro-crime. The same agenda provides for terrorizing law-abiding Americans into submission.

The attacks on pro-life groups have been so rampant and brazen. Meanwhile, the authorities in Democratic communities have been so negligent of them.

A crisis pregnancy center in Buffalo, New York, for instance, had to hire private investigators to probe a firebombing against them. It remains to be seen if Republican action could do more to hold accountable officials who defend leftist thugs.
