Days ago, Americans learned that Hunter Biden won’t be facing any serious consequences for his violations of tax laws or his decision to lie on a form required for getting a gun.

Instead, the first son is getting a plea deal and a slap on the wrist.

This news hasn’t gone over very well with the American people. Many folks believe that Hunter is only being treated with kid gloves because his father’s the president.

Even before news of this plea deal was announced, people warned that it wasn’t very likely that Hunter would spend a moment behind bars.

Now, reports from Breitbart News reveal that Congress is taking action, in light of these developments.

Republican lawmakers have revealed they’re going to hold a vote on reviewing documents from a whistleblower within the IRS. The documents in question could very well expose whether or not the Department of Justice interfered with the investigation into Hunter Biden’s taxes.

If there was interference of any nature, this could very well explain the sweetheart deal that Hunter Biden managed to walk away with.

Right now, it remains to be seen when this vote takes place and whether or not the results of this vote lead to any changes in legal action toward Hunter Biden.

As noted countless times, if Hunter weren’t the son of a president or famous politician, he’d already be serving time in prison for breaking tax laws and lying on forms for firearm purchases.

On social media, Americans are rightfully calling out the sweetheart deal as elitist and unfair.

Meanwhile, the Biden administration is predictably covering for Hunter. When the president was asked about the latest breaking news involving his son, Biden insisted that he’s proud of Hunter, a man he thinks “did nothing wrong.”
