The United States Secret Service reportedly just closed streets surrounding Lafayette Park, the Ellipse, and Pennsylvania Avenue, according to freelance DC reporter Andrew Leyden.
Hazmat teams were also seen entering the West Wing gate of the White House when they heard about the discovery of hazardous material.
The suspected material allegedly tested positive for cocaine hydrochloride when it was examined by DC Hazmat workers. Doctors utilize cocaine hydrochloride as a local anesthetic.
According to Anthony Gulielmi, spokesperson for the U.S. Secret Service, additional testing is being done to determine whether the material is actually an illicit narcotic.
He added that when the material was found, President Biden hadn’t been in the executive house.
How the cocaine entered the White House is being looked investigated by officials. Republican Rep. Jim Banks posted on Twitter that no one ever discovered cocaine in the Trump White House!
While reporting on the cocaine find, Newsmax anchor Robb Schmitt remarked that it wouldn’t have been a thumpin’ July 4th celebration without Hunter Biden taking lines off of a sculpture of Teddy Roosevelt.
‘The White House is where Hunter Biden resides right now. However, the FBI is unsure about the drug’s owner. Is anyone willing to assist them?
While making a normal trip around the White House, a uniformed USSS agent discovered the white powdery substance. Following the identification of the illicit substance, the White House was briefly evacuated.
The squad from the D.C. Fire Department which attended to the call judged that the substance did not present a threat. On top of this, the dispatcher’s tape from the fire department crew verified that testing revealed it was cocaine.
As per the Post, a firefighter with the D.C. Department of Hazardous Materials communicated at 8:49 on Sunday that they had a yellow bar indicating cocaine hydrochloride.
