Google is one of the furthest left companies in the world. Its parent company, Alphabet Inc., uses the search engine to filter results and try to make everything as pro-LGBT, pro-abortion, and pro-left as possible.
Though Google had a rare defeat after some of its few Christian employees said they are offended by a drag show the company sponsors and supports.
Google is based in San Francisco, a hub of LGBT activism, parades, and shows, especially during the “Pride” month of June.
One of these events was the “Pride and Drag Show” featuring a drag queen named “Peaches Christ” who makes fun of Jesus and Christianity as part of his routine.
Google’s Christian employees circulated a petition and gave it to the company’s HR department. The petition said that the show is a “direct affront” to their beliefs and engages in “religious discrimination.”
Upon getting the petition, Google removed its support for the event and backed down.
According to Google, they took down the sponsored event because it had been booked before being fully approved. They claim it had nothing to do with the petition.
Google says it’s very “proud” to celebrate and affirm many “LGBT+” performers including drag queens and hasn’t changed its policy on supporting and sponsoring LGBT events in general.
While the company noted that sponsorship is pulled, they encouraged Google employees to attend anyway.
Google can try to cover it up, but it’s clear they got a little bit spooked by the petition and decided to pull official sponsorship from the event.
The point of this story is to show that Christians, patriots, and normal Americans still have much more power than they think.
It’s important to use avenues within the law to demand respect for your beliefs and not allow woke capitalism to keep getting away with its infringements on our beliefs.
