During this year alone, China has taken several steps that are problematic and worth the United States keeping an eye on.

Just months ago, various spy balloons from China were hovering over the airspace of our country. When US officials finally removed these balloons, China lashed out against America.

Following this, China has been cozying up to Russia.

This comes amid the war the latter started in Ukraine last February. To make matters worse, it’s believed that leaders of China and Russia are putting their heads together to work out mutually beneficial arrangements.

Now, new actions from China during its military drills are raising questions about whether it’s preparing to strike Taiwan, per Breitbart News.

As China conducted its most recent military drills, it didn’t hesitate to circle around Taiwan for two days in a row. China did this after House Speaker Kevin McCarthy brushed aside the communist regime’s demand for him not to meet with Taiwan’s leader.

Tsai Ing-wen, the president of Taiwan, confirmed that the country will continue pairing with America and other similar-minded countries to push back against “authoritarian expansionism.”

China’s latest antics raise questions about whether it’s thinking about invading Taiwan, just as Russia did to Ukraine over a year ago. As of right now, there is still some ambiguety about how the US federal government would respond to Taiwan being invaded by China.

Mixed messages on this matter have come from both Joe Biden and his White House administration.

Right now, when it comes to China, the best thing we can do as a nation is keep our powder dry. However, in doing this, we also have to continue to keep an eye on China and what the country is up to.

So far, reports indicate that China circling around Taiwan amid military drills caught the attention of other nations, such as Japan. According to one of the government’s spokespersons, Japan is very much monitoring what China is up to.

On social media, many Americans have shared the view that China (and Russia) would not be so emboldened if Joe Biden had made different foreign policy decisions. His chosen manner of handling the 2021 Afghanistan exit is one example that’s frequently brought up.

Weakness arouses evil and if America had a stronger leader in office, both China and Russia may be a bit more contained.
