Bud Light has gotten what it deserves for promoting vicious transgenderism through its partnership with toxic promoter Dylan Mulvaney, a nauseating delusional individual.
It is no longer the top-selling beer marker in the United States, thanks to outraged consumers’ boycotts. That left the No. 1 spot open from Mexico’s larger Modelo Especial.
Bud Light’s insane, moronic attempt to use a male claiming to be a woman has backfired so badly that it might be one of the biggest failures in the corporate-driven promotion of transgenderism so far.
The damage control attempts by Bud Light’s parent company, Belgium-based Anheuser-Busch, have been equally disastrous for its US subsidiary, contributing to what could only be described as an all-out cluster****.
In any case, the anti-transgenderism boycott made sure that Bud Light is suffering a very protracted “Dylan Mulvaney moment.”
Thus, in the four-week period ending June 3, Bud Light’s sales collapsed by 24.4%, leaving it with a 7.3% market share in the United States, CNN reports, as cited by Just The News.
At the same time, Modelo Especial, a brand brewed by Constellation Brands close to Mexico City, saw its sales spike by 12.2%. It ended up with a market share of 8.4% on the US retail beer market, based on data from Bump Williams, a consulting firm specializing in the beverage industry.
Social media users cautioned however, that, through a subsidiary, Modelo Especial is also technically owned by Anheuser-Busch.
In a release, Bump Williams commented that Modelo Especial’s sales seem to be growing by the week as the summer season was progressing.
The data shows Bud Light still holds the title of the top-selling beer in America year-to-date. Although that is very likely to change if consumers keep up their boycott after the company’s bewildering endorsement of transgenderism.
Bump Williams’ analytics vice president, Dave Williams, told CBS that Bud Light’s grip on the year-end title would keep “loosening” by the week. That’s if it manages to achieve a substantial reversal in consumer attitudes, overcoming the aftermath of its Dylan Mulvaney fiasco.
The report points out the market collapse of the Anheuser-Busch products in the United States is hardly limited to Bud Light. Its other brands – such as Natural Light, Michelob Ultra, and Busch Light – are also seeing falling sales.
