The Black Lives Matter movement has effectively shot itself in the foot. After years of getting major donations from individuals and corporations alike, the company was exposed for not being as squeaky clean as it pretended to be.

Many of the founders used the money to purchase fancy homes in good neighborhoods, rather than bring about all the changes they talked about. BLM also infamously spread false narratives about law enforcement. This created an ongoing ripple effect of problems that exist in real time.

Now, a new poll shows that the majority of Americans have caught onto what a scam BLM is, per Breitbart News.

Data from Pew Research Center revealed 51% of adults in this country are currently supportive of BLM. Only a year ago, that number stood at 56%.

This drop in support comes amid recent news that BLM is facing debt to the tune of over $8 million, despite getting millions from donors on a years-long basis. Right now, there are still many questions about how BLM spent the money that people handed over as a show of goodwill.

So far, the information on the record doesn’t look good. It confirms beyond the shadow of a doubt that individuals and corporations alike were duped by BLM.

Some people have suggested the leaders of BLM should face legal repercussions for using money donated to the organization to buy fancy mansions.

Likewise, there are calls for BLM to return the money they raised, since people donated it under false pretenses from the organization.

Time will tell if leaders of BLM face any legal accountability for how they’ve spent the money given to them. Though in the meantime, there’s a very real likelihood that support for the organization is going to keep on declining.
