The Biden administration intensified a gigantic crackdown on ordinary Americans by targeting various household devices and appliances with ferocious new regulations.

The president first came up with insane “climate change” rules on gas stoves; now, he’s come up with new requirements for water heaters and portable gas generators.

A new rule proposed by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) would ban almost all kinds of portable gas generators presently on the market, Washington Free Beacon reports.

The crazy new draft regulation comes just weeks after a Biden regulator announced the prohibition of gas stoves. It also arrives just as the US Energy Department unveiled new, stricter draft rules on domestic water heaters.

The new CPSC regulations slash allowed carbon monoxide that a gas generator can produce. That’s even as the federal body admitted a whopping 95% of the portable devices out there did not meet the new standard.

As the new rules would leave manufacturing companies only half a year to come up with generators meeting their criteria, industry leaders fear they would result in “widespread generator shortages.”

According to Susan Orenga, head of the Portable Generator Manufacturers’ Association, the process of designing new devices for the market typically takes several years.

The scandalous new proposal comes after a few months ago, Richard Trumka Jr., head of the CPSC and a Biden appointee, proposed regulations banning gas stoves because they were supposed a “hidden hazard.”

The report points out the new Biden regulatory insanity comes when more Americans face a growing risk of electricity outages nationwide, due to the increased reliance on green power.

According to a May 2023 report by a grid watchdog, some two-thirds of Americans are faced with an “elevated risk” of blackouts during the summer.

A case in hand from last year is California, which saw multiple power outages in the summer of 2022 as demand for electric power surged.

The report stresses nearly five million households in the United States use portable gas generators, helping anyone who experiences an electricity outage to keep the lights on.
