When Joe Biden campaigned for the presidency in 2020, he said he wouldn’t impose COVID vaccine mandates. Of course, when Biden actually got into office, he did not live up to this promise.

Instead, the president fully embraced these mandates, painting them as necessary for the good of public health. Biden did this despite the reality that COVID vaccines did not put a stop to the transmission or spread of the virus.

Biden tried to cram vaccine mandates down the throat of nearly every American worker. Though he was thankfully stopped by Republicans who fought him all the way to the Supreme Court.

In the latest blow to the president, it turns out his COVID vaccine mandate for employees of the federal government was also deemed unlawful, as reported by Breitbart News.

Days ago, the Fifth Circuit Appeals Court ruled that Biden’s executive order which forced all federal government employees to receive a COVID vaccine exceeded his legal authority. As such, the judge on the case issued an injunction that renders this executive order null and void.

This is a major victory for folks who don’t believe the government should be able to force medical procedures upon them under the threat of job loss. It’s also yet another reminder to the president that he’s not a king and he, too, has to abide by this country’s laws.

In the aftermath of the Fifth Circuit Appeals Court’s ruling, there are already calls for folks who lost their jobs over this now-illegal vaccine mandate to be reinstated. Many Americans likewise hold the view that these folks should also receive back pay for the time they were out of work.

Whether or not this happens remains to be seen. Though the court’s decision is an undeniable loss for the current president, yet a resounding victory for the American people.
