This sounds like fake news, but it’s absolutely true.
The Biden Department of Justice (DOJ) is trying to put three men in jail for going into the US Capitol on January 6, 2021 to use the bathroom. Yes, seriously.
On January 6, 2021, two men and their elderly dad, a pastor, entered the US Capitol.
Upon entering the Capitol building, they told the officers they needed to use the restroom; so they were ushered inside and even helped by one of the police officers.
The defendants, David Lesperance, 70, Casey Cusick, a father of three, and his father James Cusick, a 74-year-old pastor, now face up to three years in jail for using the Capitol bathroom on the day of the riot.
At the time, lawmakers were in a room certifying the results of the 2020 election, which Democrats claim that Trump supporters tried to prevent.
There’s zero evidence that Lesperance or the Cusicks tried to prevent anything or commit any crime, but they’re now facing three years of potential jail time…
Videos on January 6 show a much different image than what the treasonous left-wing media has portrayed.
They even show that several police officers took selfies with the protesters, many of whom later ended up being chased down by the FBI.
What kind of “domestic terrorist” takes photos with law enforcement? It sounds a lot more like the vast majority of these people were peaceful patriots sending a message!
Though the DOJ is determined to punish these men for going to the bathroom:
According to the Justice Department, Casey, James, and David are charged with four federal crimes.
Among them are:
- trespassing on federal property
- troublemaking on private property
- “violently” entering restricted property
- being “disorderly” in the US Capitol.
What utter nonsense.
The left’s outrageous witch hunt over January 6 has severely weakened and harmed the republic far more than any protests or riots did on that day.
