Left-wing environmental organizations, such as the Center for Biological Diversity, are pushing for a radical ban on the use of lead ammunition in all national wildlife refuges. Critics of anti-hunting groups contend that their claims lack scientific evidence.

The Sportsmen’s Alliance VP of government affairs, Todd Adkins, slammed the administration for increasing the expenses of hunting, fishing, and other recreational pursuits.
