NextImg:Apple Set to Delete My PhotoStream - The Conservative Brief

In a month’s time, Apple will completely destroy a whole album of photos from your iPhone. Fortunately, there is a simple solution to prevent this from happening.

My Photo Stream, a file system that automatically saves your pictures from the last 30 days, is being retired, according to the tech titan.

My Photo Stream ceased accepting pictures as a consequence of the closure on June 26. Anything in the collection will be destroyed when it is erased on July 26.

If you happen to own an iPhone, we strongly advise you to visit My Photo Stream, which can be found in the Photos application, and store the data to the device itself.

For more than ten years, My Photo Stream provided free space as a substitute for iCloud Photos, which recently increased in price in the UK and other nations.

According to a statement made by Apple on its internet-based support page, My Photo Stream will be discontinued on July 26, 2023.

New picture uploading from your gadgets to My Photo Stream will cease on June 26, 2023, as a consequence of the change.

“Take care that you add it to the gallery on that iPhone, iPad, or Mac if the picture you’re looking for isn’t already there,” Apple advises.

Users expressed their worries over the ten-year-old function disappearing on Twitter, one user labeling it “actually sad.”

They posted on Twitter that they utilized it to get pictures between their iPhone 6 running iOS 12, iPhone 4 running iOS 6, and macOS.

Another person remarked, “I believe my Apple photo feed has vanished.” A lot of images were lost.

Yet another individual made a threat to stop using Apple products and move to Google phones.

My Photo Stream is an absolutely free feature that periodically downloads up to 1,000 photos over the last 30 days. It was first introduced by Steve Jobs in 2011.
