Simon Ateba, the main White House correspondent for Today News Africa, revealed in an interview with the Daily Caller that he was afraid of the Biden administration potentially trying to assassinate him.

Ateba has made a name for himself as one of the most vocal reporters.

He’s repeatedly challenged the Biden administration over the last few years. The Today News Africa correspondent clashed with White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on multiple occasions for not being called into the briefing room.

Ateba believes his incisive questioning of the Biden administration’s policies has earned him many enemies.

The African reporter noted the Biden administration has refused to let him ask questions about sensitive policies that affect millions of Americans.

Additionally, the Biden administration took Ateba out of the recording of the press briefing held on June 28.

Per a Fox News report, Ateba has not been able to ask a question in nine months.

According to a Daily Caller report, Ateba attempted to chime in on the June 26 briefing in order to get an answer to his question. Jean-Pierre was not having it and responded to Ateba’s antics by threatening to abruptly end the press event.

In an unedited version of the video of the press briefing, Ateba is heard declaring the Biden administration is engaging in discriminatory behavior towards him. He argued the White House has been discriminating against him for the last nine months.

Jean-Pierre became uncomfortable with Ateba’s questioning and described his behavior as very rude. In addition, she threatened to abruptly conclude the press conference because she had trouble dealing with Ateba.

Ateba is another case of a dissenting voice that believes the Biden administration is allegedly going after people for offering opinions that go against the prevailing political narrative.
