With the upcoming presidential race, there’s a lot of focus on who will be the next to occupy the Oval Office, but there will also be key races in the US Senate taking place in this cycle.
Here’s a look at some members of the Senate who are in serious danger of losing their seats…
Key races look set to shift in Montana, West Virginia, and Ohio.
In Montana, Democratic Senator Jon Tester is going up against ex-SEAL Tim Sheehy, who’s backed by Governor Gianforte and key allies across the nation.
Part of this is about preventing real competition from the more populist base of the party in Congressman Matt Rosendale; this time around, Trump looks ready to back Sheehy.
In West Virginia, incumbent Democratic Senator Joe Manchin is generally seen as one of the less far left and he might run for POTUS.
What’s clear is his GOP-backed competitor, Jim Justice, and fellow Republican Alex Mooney have a very good shot of getting rid of Manchin if he runs again for Senate.
In Ohio, Democrat Sherrod Brown faces off against Bernie Moreno and Ohio’s Secretary of State Frank LaRose, as well as Matt Dolan, all of whom have a good chance to show Brown the exit door.
In Arizona, Independent Senator Kyrsten Sinema is facing a lot of opposition from the further left in Democrat Ruben Gallego, who’s already raising big money. She may also get hit from the right by former Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake.
In Nevada, Democratic Senator Jacky Rosen is facing off against decorated veteran Sam Brown and former state politician Jim Marchant.
Meanwhile, in Wisconsin, far-left Democrat Tammy Baldwin is likely to face stiff competition likely from GOP candidates Eric Hovde or Scott Mayer. More tight races are going to happen in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Texas, and Florida.
Most of these potential changes are going to be good for the GOP and patriots, so let’s keep our eyes on these races.
