Earlier on Wednesday afternoon, the White House sent out an update to the emailed Daily Guidance and Press Schedule for the day, adding a press briefling by White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt "with a special guest." What they came up with was a totally genius move.
The press event began with Leavitt laying out the facts about Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the alleged "illegal alien MS-13 terrorist" who the U.S. recently repatriated to an El Salvadorean prison--and Democrat Senator Chris Van Hollen rushing to El Salvador Wednesday to seek his release:
Then the PressSec introduced the special guest--one of Van Hollen's own constituents, Maryland Angel Mom, Patty Morin, whose family has been devastated by the Democrats' open border policies:
