Border czar Tom Homan took a wrecking ball to Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) and a ragtag group of misfit Democrats after they staged a sad attempt at a sit-in outside an ICE facility in Baltimore.
Van Hollen, along with Sen. Angela Alsobrooks (D-MD) and Democratic Maryland Reps. Kweisi Mfume, Glenn Ivey, Johnny Olszewski, and Sarah Elfreth attempted to take a tour of the George H. Fallon federal building earlier this week, only to be denied entry.
It's been a standard part of the resistance playbook for months now. Fabricate allegations of abuse, say you're investigating such allegations, note that you have a duty and right to inspect ICE facilities, get turned away, and cry to the media.
Rinse and repeat.
Van Hollen, perhaps because he wasn't having a margarita with his human-trafficking friends, or perhaps because he realized to some degree that his colleagues' response to the denial was to hold a pathetic sit-in, was captured with a sad and forlorn face.

The stunts are old, tiresome, and clearly designed by a Democrat party leadership group that has yet to figure out that they are not resonating with the American voter precisely because they'd rather play performance artists than do anything substantive for the people.
And do you know who doesn't have time for such nonsense? Homan, who accurately described Van Hollen as "an embarrassment to the position he holds."
Homan was discussing the matter with Fox & Friends host Lawrence Jones, who had pointed out that Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem torched Van Hollen on X by posting multiple mugshots of the criminal illegal aliens he and his crew were trying to protect. The individuals had been charged with various heinous crimes, including rape and possession of child pornography.
"The Democrats are upset because we're proving every day what a national security threat, a public safety threat, the Biden Administration allowed. And he was silent," Homan fired back.
"Him and the other Democrat leaders were silent while women and children were being sex trafficked at record numbers. A record number of Americans dying from fentanyl. A record number of known suspected terrorists coming across the border," he added.
"They're embarrassed because we are proving exactly what they did, and President Trump is keeping his promise to the American people, and they can’t stand it. They want to flip the script. They want to mis-message to the American people. Well, it’s not working."
Sen. John Kennedy also criticized the display, pointing out the true goal behind the Democrats' sit-in game.
"It's just a publicity stunt," he said. "They're interested in being denied and having you (the media) cover it."
Meanwhile, the ICE facility where Van Hollen and his group were taking a photo-op wasn't even a detention facility, according to officials there, but rather an office used to process those who have been arrested.
Editor’s Note: Democrat politicians and their radical supporters will do everything they can to interfere with and threaten ICE agents enforcing our immigration laws.
