NextImg:Watch: Scott Jennings Leaves Journalist Flailing and Fuming During Argument Over Political Violence

Scott Jennings left journalist Tara Palmeri fuming and flailing during an argument over political violence, which has become a predominant issue on the left.

As RedState reported, a terrorist who shouted "end Zionists" set multiple elderly Jews on fire in Boulder, CO, on Sunday. Mohamad Soliman, who is an illegal immigrant, was captured on video shortly after the attack holding Molotov cocktails and rambling about freeing "Palestine," a favorite cause of Democrats.

But that was just the latest example of left-wing violence perpetrated within the United States. Two Israeli embassy workers were gunned down in the street in May by yet another 'free Palestine' fanatic. In late 2024, a health insurance CEO was murdered by a self-proclaimed socialist upset about the cost of healthcare. Other examples include the firebombing of Tesla dealerships and the violence perpetrated by pro-Hamas activists on college campuses and city streets. All of this has occurred within the last year.

In other words, the left has a violence problem, and when Jennings pointed that out, Palmeri immediately got very defensive, claiming it's a "both sides" issue. That's when he challenged her to give examples of right-wing violence happening today. Let's just say she didn't quite have an answer.

JENNINGS: The left has a problem with violence. It is in its heart right now.

PALMERI: I don't think it is only the left. I mean, you have literally seen people on both sides committing violence. I think the problem is not "the left." I think it is the extremes on both sides of the party, and that is what's happening. They're the loudest voice, whether the leaders want them or not, and they tend to be the most violent. I don't think that's fair to say it's only the left.

JENNINGS: But why, but why is it happening, why do late-night comedians go on and encourage or coddle or give lip service to this vandalism that went on with Tesla dealerships and so on? Why are there so many prominent people who are like, "I totally get why (crosstalk)..."

PALMERI: People didn't get hurt, someone died on January 6th.

I want to point out that January 6th is all these people have. As you'll see momentarily in the rest of the clip, when Palmeri is pressed for examples of right-wing violence "today," not over four years ago, she has no answer whatsoever. I also can't gloss over the "someone died on January 6th" comment. Yes, someone did die. They were shot by an overzealous police officer with a highly checkered history of misconduct

Jennings is also correct to point out that the left coddles and encourages violence. Late-night comedians did make light of the firebombings on Tesla dealerships and the murder of United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson. Some Democrats even used the latter to "start a conversation" about healthcare costs, tacitly endorsing the killer's heinous crime.

PALMERI: Listen, I'm not for vandalism.

JENNINGS: It's more than that. They fire-bombed these things, like, it's obviously a problem.

PALMERI: It's dangerous, but it's happening on both sides.

JENNINGS: What person on the right is committing violence today?

PALMERI: Oh, my gosh. Well, first of all, when you're in power, you don't tend to be the ones doing that.

JENNINGS: Can't think of any?

Of course, she can't think of any and can only repeatedly cite January 6th. That's because there have been no significant examples of right-wing violence over the last several years. The whole "well, they are in power, so that's why" excuse doesn't really wash either. Republicans were not in power from 2021-2025, yet they weren't fire-bombing things and gunning down people in the streets over it.

Expectedly, Palmeri is left stammering.

PALMERI: After they lost the election in 2020, there was a mob and a person died, and it was a riot at the capital. It was crazy.

JENNINGS: It was a terrible thing, and it should not have happened.

PALMERI: It was a horrible day, and it's not the only example.

JENNINGS: And it was five and a half years ago.

PALMERI: Can we also talk about the fact that someone broke into Nancy Pelosi's house and violently beat up her husband?

JENNINGS: Are you saying that homeless drug addict was a conservative?

PALMERI: Well, I mean.

They've got nothing, folks. It is an indisputable fact that this is not a "both sides" issue anymore, and even when it arguably was, Democrats never admitted that and only brought up right-wing incidents. Now, we are supposed to let them use the "both sides" excuse to gloss over left-wing violence? Nah, that's not how any of this works. They created the environment for this stuff to happen, and they own it.
