The parents of slain congressional intern Eric Tarpinian-Jachym broke down in tears speaking with interim United States Attorney for D.C., Jeanine Pirro, following the announcement of two arrests in their child's murder.
Speaking on Friday on Fox News, the late D.C. intern's mother, Tamara Tarpinian-Jachym, was joined by Pirro after the U.S. attorney revealed that two 17-year-olds have been arrested in Eric's murder. Investigators are still looking for a third suspect, who is also a juvenile, as my RedState colleague Sister Toldjah reported.

"I would like to thank you, Judge, for doing your job in D.C.," Tamara said, while holding back tears. "And I always respected you, even before you had this position. I also want to thank all the detectives and everybody who has worked tirelessly on this case."
"It was a shock," she added. "We heard for the first time from your news conference what exactly happened with Eric and what kind of guns. I just, we are very, very thankful and hopefully that this will continue for all these homicide victims that they will get their due justice too for their families."
"Because it's not fun to be in this club," Eric's mom continued. "And my heart goes out to all the other families who have lost children to senseless homicide."
Tamara turned to her husband, Bob, and asked if he wanted to say anything.
"I thank you from the bottom of my heart," Eric's father said. "And if I ever meet you, I want to give you a big hug."

The moment not only broke up Tamara and Bob, but Judge Pirro also appeared to be moved to tears as she dropped her head and looked as if she was trying to hold back emotions as well.
The grieving mother also said this shouldn't be a political issue, but a safety issue for all Americans.
Just so heartbreaking. As RedState reported, on Friday, Pirro announced the arrests of two juveniles, who have violent criminal records in the murder of the congressional intern.
Toldjah reported:
Two 17-year-olds have been arrested in the murder of congressional intern Eric Tarpinian-Jachym, U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro announced Friday.
Investigators are still searching for a third suspect, who is also a juvenile.
Tarpinian-Jachym, 21, was killed by stray bullets in Washington on June 30.
Jalen Lucas and Kelvin Thomas Jr. are being charged with first-degree murder in the killing. They will be prosecuted as adults, she said.
As RedState also reported, Tamara recently shared the heartfelt letter she received from President Donald Trump after her son was killed in D.C. while interning on Capitol Hill.
During Tamara Tarpinian-Jachym's appearance on the local "The Howie Carr Radio Show" in New England, the mother of 21-year-old congressional intern Eric Tarpinian-Jachym, of Granby, Massachusetts, opened up about her son's murder and praised President Trump for the unexpected letter she received that helped ease the pain of losing her child.
"It just made me feel so good...People call [Trump] a monster, but he's not. He's such a human. He is so kind to kids. I just couldn't believe that he did this," the grieving mom told the radio host.
Praying for their family that justice will be served.
