NextImg:Watch: Greg Gutfeld Goes Off on Co-Host After She Tries to ‘Both Sides’ Violence After ICE Shooting

Jessica Tarlov disgracefully attempted to provide a "both sides" rationalization for a shooting at an ICE facility in Texas that left two people dead; Greg Gutfeld went nuclear on her, pointing out that there's only one side where the violence is coming from, and it's the left.

During Fox News' "The Five" on Wednesday, co-host Tarlov talked about the ICE shooting and how authorities said there was "anti-ICE" messaging on the bullet casings. The shooting came two weeks to the day that Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk was assassinated by a suspected shooter whom authorities said was influenced by leftist ideology.

Tarlov claimed that it has become too common to hear words like "fascist and fascism" and that's a "both sides' problem. She also said that after Kirk's murder, President Donald Trump said that  "the radical left did this, and then we heard a chorus of 'we are at war.'"

Gutfeld had heard enough and blew up, calling her comments "absolute garbage. When somebody gets murdered, you are saying, 'How dare you be enraged by it?'"

When Tarlov tried to repeat her statement, Gutfeld cut in with, "No, Jessica, I'll give you both sides. I agree with you, there is 'both sides', on one hand you have the hard left and on the other you have the left."

Jessica Tarlov asked, "Why are you so …."

"Because you walk into this room and you're not reading it," Gutfeld replied. "There is no both sides… You don't have the evidence for that."

Tarlov said, "That's not true."

"You can't say Donald Trump said this, you guys act on it," he added. "You guys act on it. We don't."

And this is where it gets gross as Tarlov appears to provide cover for the shooter by claiming he was either influenced by some "leftist cabal" or has eyes and "sees what's going on, maybe there are people in his community of people being picked up from ICE."

That was enough for Gutfeld, who brought the receipts of where the violence was coming from, and it's not the right.

"You have to understand since, Kirk's death, there is no both sides anymore, Jessica," Gutfeld said. "It's real simple, you label someone a fascist or a racist or a Nazi it makes you free to attack them and that has been the ideology from the start."

"The left calls Trump a hate monger," he added. "They've called me a hate monger because I've ridiculed the left, I  ridicule protestors, I ridicule academia, Hollywood, the news media, I make fun of 'The View' every day. I make fun of the UN [United Nations]. Guess what? No one acts on the things that I say because my side doesn't do that! We say people are stupid. We say people are wrong, but we don't say they're evil. That is your game."

"Then you come in and say, 'This is a mentally ill loner.' Well, who do you think does this stuff…People who do this stuff are always that way. The question is, who points them in that direction?" Gutfeld continued. "Why pick ICE? Why pick Kirk? Why target TV stations and put bombs under Fox trucks? Why vandalize memorials? Why kill kids in Catholic schools?"

He wrapped up his comments by saying two things can be true:

A person can be mentally ill, and you can be guiding him to that place in his life. That is how brainwashing works."

Gutfeld rightly blasted Tarlov and her rationalization for violence. He was also right to call her and other Democrats out who have literally no ground to stand on, after demonizing Trump and his supporters for the better part of a decade. Stop it now.
