Florida Governor Ron DeSantis laid into Democrats for repeatedly putting on a show for illegal alien inmates at Alligator Alcatraz, while making a career out of ignoring the Angel moms and dads who lost their loved ones to illegal immigrant crime.
DeSantis (R) was prompted by a reporter to comment on claims that some of the criminals detained within the swampy confines of the facility are not getting their medications. It is something he and officials associated with the facility have adamantly denied.
The governor began by noting that he was fairly certain Florida Division of Emergency Management Director Kevin Guthrie would readily debunk that narrative.
Then, seemingly fed up with the constant cycle of hoaxes emerging from the Democratic camp regarding Alligator Alcatraz, DeSantis unleashed.
"I've never seen one of you show up to comfort an angel mom who's lost a child because of illegal alien crime," he fumed. "I've never seen you raise any concern about the victims of illegal immigration. Not one time have I seen these Democrats caravan anywhere in this state, hold a press conference, to be able to stand in solidarity with victims. I've never seen that!"
"These are stunts they're pulling because they're increasingly politically irrelevant in this state."

DeSantis then deferred back to Guthrie, who, wouldn't you know it, debunked the lies.
"So again, simple answer, absolute crap," he told reporters. "We have on this facility the ability of a full-fledged medical center with X-ray capability, sonogram capability, prescription med capability."
Guthrie went on to point out that every individual in Alligator Alcatraz is on "a final removal order," meaning they have been in custody for a while and "have been underneath the federal government's health and medical arm" for some time.
In short, they're definitely getting their meds.
"So again, all of that is false. Every single bit of it."
DeSantis then lamented the lengths to which the criminals and their advocates (Democrats) will go to fabricate complaints in an attempt to make the facility seem inhumane. That includes complaints about cold ham sandwiches.
Guthrie had previously brought the sandwich situation to light, noting that one Democrat complained about the "gray" turkey sandwiches being fed to detainees while simultaneously demanding they get seconds. Not the brightest bulb in the box.
Speaking of bulbs ...
Even more hilarious was the congressional member who brought an infrared thermometer to try to assess the temperature in the detention center, promptly pointed it at a light bulb to artificially inflate the temp, then ran to the nearest camera to complain that the illegals might get a little sweaty due to the heat.
DeSantis makes a great point here.
Since Donald Trump was elected, Democrats' singular focus has been running across the western hemisphere to visit their criminal illegal alien base - whether it's at an ICE facility in New Jersey, a prison in El Salvador, or in an alligator and python-surrounded facility called Alligator Alcatraz.
It's instinctual, really. Democrats always run to defend criminals; they don't give a damn about the families of those impacted by those same criminals.
