Warning: profanity.
As the Islamization of Europe continues, a well-known autistic British blogger was hauled off by police in the middle of the night for posting a meme featuring a Palestinian flag, and the message "F*** Palestine, f*** Hamas, f*** Islam. Want to protest? F*** off to a Muslim country and protest” on social media.
Pete North, a political campaigner and veteran of the Brexit movement, was arrested by North Yorkshire Police, allegedly for posting the above on his X account.
It gets worse.
A video posted by North shows police arriving at his home around 9:30 p.m. In the footage, an officer tells him he had “posted something online” that someone “didn’t appreciate.”
The officer added that their “hate crime team” had reviewed the post, leading to North's arrest on suspicion of “stirring up racial hatred,” under Section 19 of the Public Order Act.
Section 19 of the Public Order Act reads:
Publishing or distributing written material.
(1) A person who publishes or distributes written material which is threatening, abusive or insulting is guilty of an offence if—
(a) he intends thereby to stir up racial hatred, or
(b) having regard to all the circumstances racial hatred is likely to be stirred up thereby.
(2) In proceedings for an offence under this section it is a defence for an accused who is not shown to have intended to stir up racial hatred to prove that he was not aware of the content of the material and did not suspect, and had no reason to suspect, that it was threatening, abusive or insulting.
(3) References in this Part to the publication or distribution of written material are to its publication or distribution to the public or a section of the public.

How long before the "Islamic Republic of No-Longer-Great Britain" is born?
I ask in jest, of course, but as we all know, behind everything funny lies a fair amount of truth and reality.

Here's more, via Fox News:
North told The Telegraph that although the meme contained offensive references to Palestine and Islam, officers in an interview appeared preoccupied with the part directed at Hamas.
The officer in the interview said, ‘Well, firstly, let’s start with the meme. You posted a meme that said f--- Hamas,’" North recalled to the British outlet.
"I said, ‘yeah, I did post a meme that said f--- Hamas, because Hamas are a proscribed terrorist organisation internationally, including in Britain'."
He added: "I then asked him, ‘Just so we’re on the same page, you do know who Hamas are?’ And he just… shook his head. He looked totally blank. If you’re going to arrest people for memes, you probably need to pay more attention to current affairs."
North was released without charge after being questioned for several hours, after which he said:
I feel quite strongly that what political cartoons and memes I post on social media is none of the police’s business.
Nobody should be facing police inquiries for posting memes on Twitter. The whole point of this exercise is not to win convictions. It’s to terrorize people like me into thinking twice about posting spicy memes.
Exactly. Create fear through intimidation.
The problem in the UK is, of course, that political intimidation has become a one-way street.
Criticize Christianity? No big deal. Criticize Judaism? More power to you. But criticize Hamas, Islam, ot Palestinians, and you're likely to be dragged off to be questioned by the police for "inciting racism, hate speech," or some other trumped-up nonsense.
The question is, are UK authorities more concerned with protesting Hamas and other anti-Israel radicals, or are they terrified of the consequences if they don't?
