Turning Point USA will continue Charlie Kirk's great legacy by not only debating and having conversations with college students, but also encouraging those students to vote by making his case for conservative policies and American values.
On Saturday, Penn State will face off against the Oregon Ducks, which was Kirk's favorite college football team. Turning Point USA will be at the game in State College, PA, giving away 5,000 "Freedom" shirts that Charlie was wearing during the horrific assassination, as well as registering voters.
Benny Johnson joined "The Will Cain Show" on Fox News and had this to say about TPUSA's presence at the game on Saturday:
"I have a big announcement for your show. In the vein and in honor of Charlie Kirk, we are going to fight cultural battles and we're going to win them in an arena that Charlie loved so very much -- college football. I know this is a sports show as well, and I know that you've had a long and wonderful history on ESPN, and I know you're a big sports guy, so you're gonna love this, and we are breaking news here. Turning Point USA, at the game of the week, Penn State versus the Oregon Ducks. This is going to be a massive game. This is a game that Charlie Kirk was going to attend. Charlie Kirk loves Oregon. But he also has a bunch of fans at Penn State and has done huge events there. We are going to be handing out -- Turning Point USA is going to be handing out 5,000 Charlie Kirk "Freedom" shirts at that game. It's going to be a whiteout game, at State College, so it's going to look great in the stands, and we want the entire stands of 100,000 people in that bowl, so, you know, it's going to be a fraction of them, but we want the student section to be popping with Charlie Kirk "Freedom" shirts for the whiteout at Penn State this weekend. This happens on Saturday, there's going to be a Turning Point table, and we're going to hope to do Charlie proud by fighting those cultural battles."

The youth vote is often overlooked because most young people simply don't vote, and oftentimes it's because they have lost hope in politicians and the corruption stenching up Washington, D.C. Democrats take the youth vote for granted, thinking no matter what, they will win the 18-29-year-old vote because many of the professors in universities are liberal and attempt to indoctrinate the students.
In 2020, Trump won 41 percent of the vote from young men. In 2024, he won 56 percent of their vote. That is a big shift in that timeframe, especially when you factor in the years and elections prior, where the under-30 voting bloc handed Democrats the presidency. Since 2008, Democrats who won the presidential general election, won at least 60 percent of the youth vote. Former Vice President Kamala Harris, on the other hand, received 54 percent of the youth vote in 2024.
Trump's message played a part in winning over younger men and younger voters in general, but so did Charlie Kirk's influence, debates, and dialogues on college campuses. The vision Kirk had for young voters will never be forgotten, and it should continue to be a blueprint on how to win over America's youth.
What Benny Johnson and Turning Point USA are doing is perfect for several reasons, but the main reason is so that more young people get involved in the political process, vote, and have their voices heard on Election Day. That starts with attending big college football games and registering as many students as possible.
