It's taken me nearly 56 years to begin to come to terms with the fact that I can't fully escape my control freak tendencies (and the attendant anxiety they fuel — or that fuels them). But I have gotten a little better at learning to steer into the skid. It's why I've adopted this as my go-to meme/gif for the foreseeable future.
In a sense, maybe I'm embracing my inner Kamala, learning to be unburdened by...what has been...or what will be...Que sera, sera.
