President Donald Trump shared a post on Truth Social on Saturday directed at Attorney General Pam Bondi in which he appeared to grouse about the failure of action from the Department of Justice in a variety of cases.
“I have reviewed over 30 statements and posts saying that, essentially, ‘same old story as last time, all talk, no action. Nothing is being done. What about Comey, Adam “Shifty” Schiff, Leticia???,'” Trump groused in the Truth Social post.
It is not immediately clear who brought Trump the material that he complained about.
He said, "It’s killing our reputation and credibility," and that "JUSTICE MUST BE SERVED, NOW!!"
He also complained in that post about how things went in the parting of the ways with acting U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia Erik Siebert. He said Siebert was supported by two of the worst Democratic senators and that he had fired him, that he hadn't resigned. Those senators are Sens. Tim Kaine (D-VA) and Mark Warner (D-VA).

Trump then subsequently posted about who he was nominating in the Eastern District instead and how he thought that would get things done, with "JUSTICE FOR ALL!"
Pam Bondi is doing a GREAT job as Attorney General of the United States. She is very careful, very smart, loves our Country, but needs a tough prosecutor in the Eastern District of Virginia, like my recommendation, Lindsey Halligan, to get things moving. What we don’t need is a Democrat Endorsed “Republican.” I will be nominating Lindsey Halligan to be the United States Attorney in this very important part of our Great Country. She will be Fair, Smart, and will provide, desperately needed, JUSTICE FOR ALL!
He clearly gets that people want action, and he appears frustrated about the lack of it.
He described Halligan in another post as a "tremendous trial lawyer" who was "extremely intelligent and fearless" and had the "strength and determination" for the job. He said that she would do "GREAT things for JUSTICE, Virginia, and our Country!" So it sounds like President Trump thinks Halligan can bring the necessary fire to the job in order to get things done.
When questioned by reporters, President Trump said he wanted the investigations to wrap up, that he just wanted people to act.
