President Donald Trump welcomed Argentine President Javier Milei to the White House, and, as expected, their press conference was anything but dull, covering a range of topics.
Speaking to the press on Tuesday, Trump thanked Milei for his friendship, and the Argentine leader reciprocated before discussing sending another letter to nominate Trump again for the Nobel Peace Prize, following the historic peace deal in the Middle East.

"President @JMilei nominates POTUS again for the peace prize, following his recent, remarkable accomplishments in the Middle East," our sister site Townhall.com posted to X.
In the clip, Trump held up a copy of a framed letter from Milei to the Nobel committee nominating Trump, as he pointed out that it was sent before the peace deal, and so now he will be sending a second letter.
Trump reacted to the peace in the Middle East and said, "We've had a great week."
"Thank you very much," Trump replied. "This is such a beautiful statement."
President Trump was also asked about the rescue package for Argentina and talked about the importance of providing support to Milei because it will help Make America Great Again.
He compared it to what's been happening in South America with our support, calling on Secretary of State Marco Rubio to lay out some of the successes we have had.
"First of all, we have eight or nine countries, Argentina being one of them, that have aligned issue after issue in international community events, all over the world," Rubio said. "One of the more promising developments is that later this month, there will be an election in Bolivia after 25-30 years of anti-American, hostile governments."
"Both of the candidates running in that election...want strong, better relations with the United States," he added. "And another transformative opportunity there. So, I think this is important. This is our hemisphere, where we live. And having strong neighbors such as this."

After Historic Peace Deal, New Poll About Trump Is Going to Make Obama Mad
Trump and Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent continued taking questions, taking a dig at Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), who has attacked Milei in the past, at one point.
"We're confident President Milei will do well. We've been criticized by a couple American Peronists like Sen. Warren," Bessent said about the rescue package for Argentina.
Trump replied, "That's a compliment. She has no idea what she's doing. She's a nasty, horrible senator. Other than that, I like her very much."
Bessent went on to explain that Warren and her "protégé in New York [New York City Democrat socialist mayoral candidate Zohran] Mamdani. I don't even think he's a Peronist…."
Trump interjected, providing a description for Mamdani: "Communist."
Bessent reiterated that supporting Milei is supporting Trump's MAGA agenda.
"[President Milei] is fighting 100 years of bad economic history and policy…," Bessent said, as Trump interjected, "both presidents," and it brought a laugh from the room.
"President [Barack] Obama had a big opportunity during his term, which he wasted," the Secretary of the Treasury said. "Many governments in Latin America went center-right, and the U.S. ignored them. We are not going to ignore our allies. We are using our economic strength to ensure peace."
