NextImg:Trey Gowdy's Message to the Evil People on the Left Justifying Charlie Kirk Assassination Nails It

Former Congressman Trey Gowdy (R-SC) has a message for the evil people on the left, justifying the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, and he nails it, telling them to go seek help from a "psychiatrist."

During his appearance on Tuesday on Fox News, Gowdy reacted to some of the insanity we have been hearing from Democrats and leftists who have either openly celebrated Kirk's murder or used lies to justify it. He was asked about a recent study that highlights the role of social media in assassination culture, which the anchor said is prevalent on the left:

The study read:

“The data revealed a structured endorsement of political violence targeting figures like [President] Donald Trump and Elon Musk. These attitudes are not fringe-they reflect an emergent assassination culture.”

Fox News then shared a graph that showed 10.7 percent of the people in the survey felt it was completely justified to kill Musk. And when it came to Trump, 14.1 percent felt it was justified to murder the president. In comparison, when it comes to Musk, only 49.8 percent felt it was not at all justified to kill him, and only 44 percent felt it was "never justified to kill Trump."

"Just in case folks were wondering, there are only two lawful justifications for ever taking a life," Gowdy explained. "And that is in defense of your own life or in defense of the life of someone else. Otherwise, it's called murder."

"And if we are living in a country where only half of our fellow citizens see murder for what it is?" he added. "I just. I really fear. I've never… I'm actually happy that I am not a young person having to grow up in a country that is struggling with whether or not murder is right or wrong."

"Twenty years ago, you and I would not be having this conversation," Gowdy continued. "It doesn't matter how much you disagree with the other person. You really want to take the life of somebody because you have a different political or spiritual belief, you need to look in the mirror and then get in touch with a psychiatrist. Something is wrong with you. If you would take the life of another person over a simple political misbelief or disagreement."

As RedState reported, the conservative leader was killed by an assassin's bullet while he was speaking with college kids on the campus of Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, on September 10. Authorities later arrested the suspect believed to have committed the heinous murder, Tyler Robinson, who they said was influenced by leftist ideology.

On Tuesday, Utah County District Attorney Jeff Gray announced the charges against Robinson as RedState reported.

Today, after reviewing the evidence that law enforcement has collected thus far, I am filing a criminal information charging Tyler James Robinson, age 22, with the following crimes:

Count I - Aggravated murder, a capital offense, for intentionally or knowingly causing the death of Charlie Kirk under circumstances that created a great risk of death to others.

Count II - Felony discharge of a firearm, causing serious bodily injury, a first-degree felony.

The state is further alleging aggravating factors on Counts I and II because the defendant is believed to have targeted Charlie Kirk based on Charlie Kirk's political expression, and did so knowing that children were present and would witness the homicide.

RedState's Susie Moore reported that Gray then noted his intent to seek the death penalty in this case.

On Monday, Vice President J.D. Vance appeared on "The Charlie Kirk Show" as a guest host and broke down as he talked about the loss of his dear friend. He also said there can be "no unity" with people who celebrate Kirk's murder, RedState reported.

Speaking from his office in the White House, Vance said the data is clear: there is a much larger number of self-proclaimed leftists who are fine with the use of political violence compared to self-proclaimed very conservative ones.

"This is not a both sides problem...One side has a much bigger and malignant problem, and that is the truth that must be told," the VP said. "That problem has terrible consequences. The leader of our party, Donald J Trump, escaped an assassin's bullet by less than an inch. Our House Majority leader, Steve Scalise, came within seconds of death by an assassin himself. And now the most influential conservative activists in generations, our friend Charlie, has been murdered."

I don't know about you, but I wasn't even aware that the term assassination culture existed. Please pray for the Kirks and our lost country.
