In this episode of "Is Border Czar Tom Homan a Boss, or What?"...

To the surprise of no one on the planet, Democrats and their sock-puppet media lost their TDS-riddled minds after President Donald Trump announced on Friday that federal law enforcement would take temporary control of Washington, D.C., in response to what Trump called "out of control" crime.

From California Democrat Senator (political hack) Adam Schiff calling the president of the United States a "tinpot dictator" to left-wing rags labeling Trump's claims about crime in our nation's capital "hyperbolic and false" to PBS challenging the legality of the takeover, the left is once again in apoplectic meltdown over the Trump administration's bold actions to fix a serious problem that the Democrats themselves created.

This brings us to Tom Homan — and another one of his classic responses to the left's ridiculousness.

Trump's border czar went after those who are trying to peddle the nonsensical claim that Washington is actually safer these days, telling Newsmax that the peddlers are the same people who claimed during the Biden administration that the Southern Border was secure.

"They think we're idiots," Homan said, awesomely adding:

I've been in law enforcement for 40 years. I won't transit D.C. without a gun. And any of these reporters [who] said the crime rate is way down and it's safer than they say, I dare any of them: Walk the streets of D.C. after dark. If it's that safe, go ahead and do it, and see how that works out for you.

I'll go out on a safe limb and bet that zero left-wing reporters will accept Homan's challenge.

Embattled Washington Mayor Muriel Bowser was of course among those pushing back on Trump, claiming the capital is at a "30-year violent crime low." Left-wing lapdog media outlets dutifully followed Bowser's claim with "data" to back her up.

Homan was having none of it:

It's the same people that said the border was secure as you and I watched thousands of people cross the border every day.

So, you know, anybody that transits D.C., works in D.C., or lives in D.C., they know the truth. And just like the ones who were smart, we knew the border was not secure. We knew the border's a historic crisis.

So, you know, the lies, the lies, the lies. They think if they lie enough, people start believing them. But Americans are smarter.

Damn straight, objective Americans are smarter.

Is there any doubt that:

President Trump, Attorney General Pam Bondi, and FBI Director Kash Patel were correct in describing our nation's capital as plagued by “violent gangs,” “bloodthirsty criminals,” and “roving mobs?" No. 

The assertion by supporters of Trump's D.C. decision, such as House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) and Missouri GOP Senator Josh Hawley, that federal intervention will make D.C. “safe again” and restore its status as a secure capital? No.

The list of relevant questions like the above is long, and the commonality is (as is the case in multiple Democrat-controlled cities across America) that Democrats — not Donald Trump or the GOP — are responsible for the out-of-control madness in D.C. 

As a result, it's past time for the Republicans to right the ship.
