Scott Jennings Lights Up Biden With Fiery Truth About His Failure on American Hostages
Would you ever have expected that you would have someone occupying the Oval Office who would leave American hostages to wallow in captivity for more than a year?
Yup, the Never-Trump Crowd Is Insufferable
[I]t is hard to take the Never-Trump crowd seriously when they preach about Donald Trump being a uniquely fascistic and authoritarian figure yet have nothing to say about Barack Obama and Joe Biden’s actual records.
I'm not sure how Jennings does it. He has to constantly swat the lies from all sides of these CNN panels, like some sort of master of the ping-pongic arts.
Today on Capitol Hill...
It's a semi-busy Thursday on the Hill with multiple meetings/hearings set, including:
White House What's Up
Well-rested from his Africa jaunt, President Joe Biden will be back in action at the White House on Thursday, receiving his Daily Brief in the morning and participating in the National Christmas Tree Lighting in the evening.
Full Court Press...
It's likely the jury will return its verdict in the Daniel Penny trial on Thursday.
There could also be a ruling from the New York appellate court on President-elect Donald Trump's civil fraud appeal. In theory. Maybe.
Trump's legal team has also asked the Georgia Court of Appeals to discuss the election interference case against him there in light of his reelection.
Meanwhile, over at the Metropolitan Detention Center, Sean "Diddy" Combs and his attorneys continue to tussle with the Department of Justice over restrictions placed on Combs and his ability to access a laptop with discovery information on it and allegations and alleged surveillance of his legal notes and meetings with his attorneys.
I was remiss in my musing yesterday not to include a shoutout to my own Mom, who celebrated her 92nd birthday. My sister and I took her out for dinner and we got to enjoy a nice meal and some tasty truffles (with a candle!) for dessert. We'll celebrate more formally with the rest of the family next weekend as my niece also celebrates a birthday soon. But it was nice to just sit and visit a bit. I know how lucky I am to still have her in my life — the woman who gave me life — particularly as she's been battling Stage 4 lung cancer for four-and-a-half years. I'm taking her to her quarterly check-up with the oncologist this morning, so if you have a chance and think about it, please send a prayer up for Mama Moore.
Whoopsy daisy!
