A scary scene erupted in New York City’s Times Square after a teen allegedly opened fire in the crowded area near the intersection of 44th and 7th Avenue.

Dozens were seen running from the scene during the shooting, which left multiple people injured.

The violent gunfire erupted during a dispute between two people near the intersection of 44th Street and 7th Avenue at around 1:20 a.m., the NYPD told The Post.

An 18-year-old female and two men, 19 and 65, were injured in the shooting.

The female was grazed in the neck, while the two men suffered gunshot wounds to the legs.

All three victims were transported to Bellevue Hospital and are listed in stable condition, police said.

The 17-year-old suspected shooter was taken into custody, as officers recovered a firearm at the scene.

Charges against the teen are pending. The teen was not named because of his age.

Viral News NYC posted a video of people fleeing the scene, and you can see one person being treated on the ground.

Ironically, Times Square is supposed to be a "gun free zone" That didn't seem to have helped much this morning to stop the action.
