As we have previously reported, the Biden team has been pulling out the stops to figure out how to keep Joe Biden from tripping and falling on his face, as he has done in the past. Indeed, it's the third anniversary of perhaps one of his worst falls, the one where he fell three times going up into Air Force One. 

In response, they're now frequently having him go up the short stairs into the belly of the airplane rather than the long one, so there would be fewer possible steps to trip on. 

They've also pulled out some new shoes -- "boat anchor" shoes -- in order to help with his stability. 

What was absolutely hilarious was that White House deputy press secretary Andrew Bates tried to convince us that he was wearing the special shoes because he was so fit, that it was for "exercise." 

“I know y’all aren’t partial to presidents who exercise, but don’t worry — you’ll get used to it,” Bates said.

That says so much about the honesty of this team. Indeed, they have him doing physical therapy trying to help his issues. 

Biden participates in physical therapy to increase his “core stability” at least “four to five times a week,” according to the report from his annual physical.

But the problem is that no matter what they do, they can't make Biden any younger, and they can't rectify a lot of his problems just by having him wear better shoes. Joe is still Joe, and that's the real problem here. He shouldn't be in office; he should be retired with the family somewhere. That's if they truly cared about him. 

That point was made clear on Tuesday as you could see his continuing gait issues and the stiffness with which he walks. 

Plus, as he went up the short stairs, you could see him have to grab the rail as he almost tripped again. You can see it at about seven seconds into the clip, although it's partially obscured by the Secret Service agent who now is there to make sure he doesn't take a header. 

The shoes can't rectify his issues picking up his feet. So I don't know what they're going to do now, but this obviously doesn't solve the problem.
