Ever since Donald Trump came down the escalator in Trump Tower in 2015, Democrats and the left have been obsessed with destroying him politically, professionally, and personally. And each time he wins and they fail, it just makes them that much crazier with hatred and Trump Derangement Syndrome. The anti-Trump left is not going away anytime soon. Aging leftist hippies who came of age protesting the Vietnam era are being replaced with a new generation of young people who have no idea what they are protesting. It's no secret that they are being organized, but that organization is being paid for with your tax dollars.

Something called "Co-Prosperity" is an affiliate of a taxpayer-supported non-profit called the Public Media Institute (PMI), based in, of all places, Chicago. Currently, Co-Prosperity is hosting a summer camp, but the activities are not those that immediately come to mind, like swimming and softball. This summer camp is entitled "Subversion Summer Camp," and, you guessed it, it is training for young leftist agitators. Subversion Summer Camp runs from July 17-27, and Co-Prosperity's website states,
"We have invited artists, educators, musicians, filmmakers, activists, designers, and workers of all stripes to converge in Chicago this summer to help us make posters, music, t-shirts and merit badges while we make friends, comrades, and plans. Let’s make camp."
"Comrades" about sums it up alright. But Subversion Summer Camp comes complete with everything the budding young Marxist should be exposed to, including signage that compares the Trump administration to Nazis. How original. A "queer rewrite of Peter Pan," what could go wrong there, and a discussion on "counterinsurgency."
PMI is just another example of non-profit organizations getting taxpayer dollars to fund the left-wing agenda, and it's exactly the kind of thing that Donald Trump was elected to eliminate. According to tax records, between 2020 and 2023, PMI received over $320,000 in government grants. They have also received roughly $20,000 from the National Endowment for the Arts since 2020. So, besides "Trump is a Nazi," and queer Peter Pan, what else is on the schedule for these young leftist minds full of mush? On July 19, one part of the schedule was entitled, “Disarming Police: Protest and Direct Action Tactics." This gives instructions for “doing what you want to, with minimal interference from police.” Are these tactics for when throwing chunks of concrete and Molotov cocktails at police just aren't enough?
Also, having taken place on July 19, an event entitled, "Why We Need American Marxism," that clearly speaks for itself. July 20 featured what was certainly a riveting lecture on “histories of counterinsurgency, with a special focus on the Cold War in Latin America.” But we are just in time for the July 24 event, "that will explore an imaginary future where revolutionaries bring about 'the death of the billionaire class.'”

The camp's schedule invites those who are interested to
“Join us in Bridgeport, the Community of the Future (and beyond), for ten days of camaraderie, fun and resistance to the spread of fascist culture … We’ll present a broad range of creative forms of protest, and participants will be able to choose their own solidarity adventure… kickball or tag, puppets or banners, ballots or stink bombs?”
Kickball and tag sounded normal enough, but ballots and stink bombs? They just couldn't help themselves, and things apparently got weird from there. Because of the failure of the public education system, especially in Chicago, these "artists and activists" have never been taught what fascism and Marxism really are, and our tax dollars are funding their miseducation. If Subversion Summer Camp is going on in Chicago, chances are, it is going on in a blue city near you.
