Like Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA), Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) has a unique and oftentimes humorous way of getting his message across when he's communicating with people, whether it be his Congressional colleagues, reporters, constituents, supporters, or protesters/agitators.
We've documented some of the more interesting ones here, like one particularly humorous response from Burchett to a leftist "tracker" who tries to do "gotcha" videos of Burchett periodically on Capitol Hill.
"Do you trust Trump’s national security team to keep our war plans top secret?" the man, cameraphone in hand, asked him during a March encounter amid the Signal text chain reports.
Burchett responded by asking, "Do you trust your mother every night to fix your Hot Pockets and make sure your Game Boy is turned on?"

It was another incident involving Burchett and a protester, however, that has made headlines for a different reason, one that involves allegations of the protester getting physical, and Burchett reacting by defending himself.
As RedState reported last Thursday, things got heated between Burchett and a pro-Hamas agitator after the final round of House voting for the week, when the man took issue with Burchett's support of Israel in the debate over the Israel-Hamas war and confronted him on it.
Words were exchanged, with Burchett alleging later that the protester "bumped stomachs" with him, and Burchett responded by shoving the person, whom the Congressman quipped "had bad breath."
In an update to this story, Politico has obtained footage which, if their description is accurate, paints a rather interesting picture of how things went down:
Burchett characterized the encounter at the time as a heated verbal exchange that grew physical when the demonstrator got in the lawmaker’s face and “bumped” him. But a recording of the incident, reviewed by POLITICO, shows that prior to the two of them coming face to face, Burchett taunted the man, saying “come over here.”
After a tense back-and-forth, the protester appeared to move away from Burchett, but the lawmaker stepped toward him again and escalated the interaction, mocking the man for “quivering.”
Burchett would also call the man a "weenie," according to Politico's review of the videos:
It's unclear why the videos haven't yet been released to the public, but a spokesman for Burchett says they have declined to press charges. We'll keep you posted if and when the videos are made public.
