If there's one thing both Joe Biden's critics and defenders should be able to agree on these days it's that whenever he gives a speech or interview it's a safe bet that we're going to get a significant degree of whoppers, incoherency, rambling, confusion, and a whole lot of made up stories about his family/political history sandwiched in between.
I mean the receipts just don't lie.
A speech he gave Friday in the White House Rose Garden was no exception to the rule, except in this case, it appeared that not even Vice President Kamala could continue wearing the mask of indifference she normally does when she's standing behind when he's addressing the public.
In the below clip, we see Biden, who is also standing next to Rep. Maxwell Frost (D-Fla.), rambling about allegedly not being eligible to serve in the Senate at the time he was first elected or something due to not quite being 30 years old yet. Notice right at the beginning where Harris has sort of a tight smile on her face as Biden starts to tell the story, perhaps clasping her hands to keep herself from covering her facial reactions:
In the next one, Biden proclaimed that he had been "to every mass shooting," which not only is a bizarre claim but is also actually impossible:
At one point Biden boasted about being "the guy, along with a woman in California, who also, we once banned assault weapons and multiple magazines." The mystery "woman in California" he is referring to is actually Sen. Dianne Feinstein, who is 90 years old and who like 80-year-old Joe Biden has also faced multiple questions regarding her age, cognitive abilities, and fitness to lead:
Then there was this statement, which I could not make any sense out of whatsoever. I'll leave it to readers to try and decipher:
Biden said much more in his speech specifically related to gun control, and RedState will have more on that part of the speech later today. Stay tuned.
