We’ve seen plenty of disgusting reactions from the media and the left to the assassination of Turning Point USA co-founder Charlie Kirk on Wednesday. However, the disgusting, celebratory posts aren’t confined to the U.S.—some ghouls overseas are finding the tragedy something to mock and laugh about, too.
And those people are not welcome in the United States.
The State Department on Thursday said it was monitoring social media accounts of foreign nationals "praising, rationalizing, or making light" of conservative activist Charlie Kirk's fatal shooting.
Kirk, 31, was killed Wednesday while speaking at Utah Valley University.
Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau posted the warning to X Thursday:
The tweet continues:
I have been disgusted to see some on social media praising, rationalizing, or making light of the event, and have directed our consular officials to undertake appropriate action. Please feel free to bring such comments by foreigners to my attention so that the @StateDept can protect the American people.

Numerous users quickly responded with screenshots and posts from people they felt met the description:
Unfortunately, this hate-filled congresswoman is already a citizen, so we can't take away her visa:

The administration has been aggressive in getting people who aren’t in America’s best interests out of here.
Since President Trump’s return to the White House, the administration has revoked more than 6,000 student visas, the State Department said last month. Most of the visas were revoked over allegations or charges related to assault, DUI, burglary and support for terrorism.
The administration has targeted international students participating in pro-Palestinian campus protests, claiming they are a threat to national security. Some students have challenged deportation proceedings.
Meanwhile, the manhunt continues, and the FBI is offering up to $100,000 for information leading to the arrest of the killer. They have also issued a photograph of a “person of interest” in the case.
The killing of Kirk has left many feeling deeply sad and rocked. The tragedy is only made worse by seeing the evil that a disturbing number of Americans—and foreigners, it turns out—have in their hearts.
Hopefully, State will send some of the non-citizens packing, or prevent them from ever getting here in the first place.
