NextImg:'Simply Not Good at the Job'—Former Biden Staffers Fire Back at Kamala Over Book Claims

As RedState’s Bonchie reported, former vice president and failed Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris dropped some serious bombs in her new book, saying that former President Biden displayed “recklessness” in opting to stay in the race despite his declining mental and physical condition. She also accused the Biden team of undermining her and kneecapping her efforts to win the presidency.

The memoir, titled "107 Days," officially comes out September 23.

Now, according to a report, former Biden insiders are clapping back and saying that Kamala’s own ineffectiveness and lack of talent were her undoing. Of course, none of these brave souls used their names, and the report comes from left-leaning Axios. That being said, it was hardly a secret that there was no love between Kamala and Joe by the end.

Several of former President Joe Biden's aides lashed out at Kamala Harris, accusing the former vice president and one-time Democrat presidential candidate of rewriting history and shifting blame after she charged in a new memoir that Biden acted recklessly in seeking reelection and that his staff worked to undermine her.

She simply wasn’t good, one aide grumbled:

"Vice President Harris was simply not good at the job," one former White House official told Axios. "She had basically zero substantive role in the administration's key work streams, and instead would just dive bomb in for stilted photo ops that exposed how out of depth she was.

"Biden is not the reason she struggled in office or tanked her campaigns. The independent variable there is the vice president."

LAPD Drops Kamala Harris Like a Hot Rock, Amid Criticism

Kamala didn’t hold back in the book and tried to make herself some sort of victim. The reality is, she didn’t speak out when it mattered and put ambition over country. She’d have gladly helped a mentally-compromised commander-in-chief stay in office if it meant her political aspirations were being realized:

And of all the people in the White House, I was in the worst position to make the case that he should drop out. I knew it would come off to him as incredibly self-serving if I advised him not to run. He would see it as naked ambition, perhaps as poisonous disloyalty, even if my only message was: Don’t let the other guy win.

“It’s Joe and Jill’s decision.” We all said that, like a mantra, as if we’d all been hypnotized. Was it grace, or was it recklessness? In retrospect, I think it was recklessness. The stakes were simply too high. This wasn’t a choice that should have been left to an individual’s ego, an individual’s ambition. It should have been more than a personal decision.

One of the anonymous aides in the story had an answer for that:

Another aide dismissed Harris' claim that she stayed quiet about Biden's reelection plans to avoid looking opportunistic.

"I'm not sure the very robust defense of not having the courage to speak up in the moment is quite as persuasive as she thinks it is," the aide said. "If this is her attempt at political absolution: Lots of luck in your senior year."

The truth, as one of the sources said, was that she was “simply not good at the job." Lots of luck in your senior year, indeed.

America dodged a bullet when Donald Trump beat Kamala Harris at the ballot box.

One reason why he won is because conservative outlets like RedState kept bringing you the unvarnished truth, and we didn’t try to gaslight you like the mainstream media did.
