We've covered some of the protester action at the TPUSA 2025 Student Action Summit that was held at the Tampa Convention Center.
They had a lot of good speakers. They also attracted a small number of protesters, who chanted about everything from ICE to Gaza. One guy got out of hand outside the event and got taken into custody. A police officer vaulted a barrier and took him down after the man hit someone who appeared to be an attendee.
We also caught some of the remarks made by Border Czar Tom Homan.
However, the video we had was from a distance, and it didn't pick up everything that he said. Here's a better video that gives you the full context of how much he demolished the Biden administration and this heckler, with some more golden words from Homan. Homan is like an old-line cop who doesn't hold back. He lets him have it big time.

Homan explained how much money the Biden team had been wasting by having empty detention beds and then letting the people go into the county to NGOs at $500 a night. He said they did that because they knew if they were in ICE detention, they would get a hearing within 40 days, 90 percent would lose their case, and get sent back. This is a great point that isn't said enough.
That's when he was interrupted by the heckler who laughably asked if Homan was an MS-13 member. Homan invited him to come up and "hand me that picture." What the guy said made him laugh at how ridiculous it was, and he led the "USA" cheer against such stupidity.
He said this guy didn't have the "b****" to be an ICE officer or a Border Patrol agent.
"This guy lives in his mother's basement," he declared. "The only thing that surprises me you don't have purple hair and a nose ring. Get out of here, you loser! And hey, if you're such a badass, meet me offstage in 13 minutes and 50 seconds. I guarantee he sits down to pee."
Oh, my, don't tick off Tom Homan, that's one heck of a savage ripping. I don't think you want to take him on.
Homan takes his job seriously, that's why that particular heckling was so bizarre. You can see it every time he talks about the issues. It moves him. He feels he has a critical mission, cleaning up the mess the Biden team left and putting things right. He announced this past week how they'd found 10,000 of the 300,000 kids who had gone "missing" under Joe Biden.
That's a big deal, given a very challenging situation. But that's Homan; he's going to push until he gets things done. He's been doing a great job on the border, which is finally secure.
