Antifa—it would be more accurate to call them "Protifa," as they act more like fascist useful idiots than any of the people they attack—should be feeling a little cold sweat running down the backs of their necks.
On Monday, President Trump signed a presidential order, designating Antifa as a domestic terror group. The president has been talking about this designation for the last week or so; now, it's official.
Section 1 of the order begins:
Antifa as a Terrorist Threat. Antifa is a militarist, anarchist enterprise that explicitly calls for the overthrow of the United States Government, law enforcement authorities, and our system of law. It uses illegal means to organize and execute a campaign of violence and terrorism nationwide to accomplish these goals.
In effect, this described Antifa as a terrorist paramilitary operating within our borders to overthrow the duly elected government of the United States. This would appear to be the definition of "insurrection," and given that Antifa goons, in the summer of 2020, actually seized control of a portion of a major city in defiance of legal authority, I'd say that definition fits.
Here's where the order gets good, in Section 2:
Because of the aforementioned pattern of political violence designed to suppress lawful political activity and obstruct the rule of law, I hereby designate Antifa as a "domestic terrorist organization." All relevant executive departments and agencies shall utilize all applicable authorities to investigate, disrupt, and dismantle any and all illegal operations --especially those involving terrorist actions -- conducted by Antifa or any person claiming to act on behalf of Antifa, or for which Antifa or any person claiming to act on behalf of Antifa provided material support, including necessary investigatory and prosecutorial actions against those who fund such operations.
As of this writing, it's not clear what next steps the Trump administration may be planning.
This should put Antifa in the position of an ant under the scrutiny of a mean little kid, wielding a magnifying glass on a hot, hot sunny day. As the order states, this will place not only the street-level useful idiots in black bloc under federal scrutiny, but will also direct the "relevant executive departments and agencies" to also pursue the people who are funding those useful idiots.

Mr. Andy Ngo, who more than anyone else has risked his safety and possibly his life to document and report on Antifa's activities, was quick to comment on the order.
He is likely correct. Increased enforcement activity on these goblins will send a lot of them scurrying underground like cockroaches when the kitchen light is flipped on.
We might note, with a hopeful tone, that they aren't facing "Autopen Joe" Biden's Justice Department anymore. And they may be facing serious consequences indeed, if they're caught. The Insurrection Act of 1807 states in part:
The President, by using the militia or the armed forces, or both, or by any other means, shall take such measures as he considers necessary to suppress, in a State, any insurrection, domestic violence, unlawful combination, or conspiracy, if it--
(1) so hinders the execution of the laws of that State, and of the United States within the State, that any part or class of its people is deprived of a right, privilege, immunity, or protection named in the Constitution and secured by law, and the constituted authorities of that State are unable, fail, or refuse to protect that right, privilege, or immunity, or to give that protection; or
(2) opposes or obstructs the execution of the laws of the United States or impedes the course of justice under those laws.
In Seattle, in the summer of 2020, Antifa and allied persons seized and held an entire section of the city, forced police officers to leave the area, and patrolled the area with firearms. Businesses were shuttered. If that's not opposing or obstructing the execution of the laws of the United States, I don't know what is.
