NextImg:Oh, the Irony! Kimmel Wonders How Republicans Can Pass 'Big, Beautiful Bill' and Still Go to Church

In this episode of "Ridiculous Tales From the TDS-Riddled Left"...

I'm not sure who proudly serves as the hood ornament on Trump Derangement Syndrome clown car, but I do know if it's not the host of ABC's pathetically biased "Jimmy Kimmel Live!," dude has to be sitting in the front passenger seat with the window down as he gleefully squeezes the bulb of the clown car horn.

In Wednesday night's absurd episode, Kimmel had the ironic audacity to trot out the religion card as he lied himself even sillier than usual while railing against House Democrats who voted in favor of President Donald Trump's spending bill, officially named the "One Big Beautiful Bill Act."

We'll get to the irony in a bit, but here's how the Trump-loathing host kicked off the ridiculous festivities (emphasis, mine):

The guy who puts McNibbles in his body and shellacks his own skin while he’s out playing 48 holes of golf every weekend is the last person who should be cutting cancer research. It also will gut Medicaid, it will cut tax credits for climate-friendly energy sources, it jacks up taxes on universities, it eliminates taxes on gun silencers, it opens up public land for drilling, mining, logging, and makes deep cuts to SNAP and food stamps for hungry people. Then these people go to church on Sunday and say, “Amen,” it’s really amazing.

What's really amazing, Jimbo — and I'm usually not a fan of whataboutism, is how you — or any left-winger — can ridicule conservatives attending church, when you gleefully support on-demand abortion, including up until what would have been the moment of birth, support males beating the bejesus of out of females in female sporting event, and oppose the deportation of illegal alien gangbangers who commit violent crimes, all while self-righteously throwing rocks at Trump and the right.

As is my custom, I gotta be real, here.

While most on the left blindly slam the spending bill out of hand, with little or no knowledge of its actual content, others embrace the "big, beautiful bill" as a victory for conservatism.

Speaking as a fiscal conservative, while the bill is definitely "big," it's far from "beautiful."

But here's the deal:

House Republicans did the right thing by passing the bill. While it's far from a fiscal conservative's dream bill, it is a start. Congressional Republicans have for too long played the "If I can't get everything I want, I'm going to vote against it" game. How's that worked out in the past?

The bottom line is "One Big Beautiful Bill Act" is a start, but it's not the long-term solution to the ever-growing federal budget and national debt.
