NextImg:Note to the Left: When You've Lost Chris Cuomo...

The difference between left and right may not be as great as the difference between left and far-left after all. And here's the thing: The difference may be as stark as not wanting your political opponents to be murdered.

That's a huge distinction. Traditional liberals, like Daniel Patrick Moynihan and Walter Mondale, never advocated for violence. Liberals like John Fetterman don't advocate for violence. But some of the far-left, "progressive" nuts, too, and even many on the left are starting to call them out on it. The latest? Chris Cuomo.

NewsNation host Chris Cuomo condemned the political left on “The Chris Cuomo Project” Thursday for arguing they are less violent than the right in the immediate aftermath of the assassination of Turning Point USA (TPUSA) founder Charlie Kirk.

Multiple Democrats blamed Republicans for a rise in political violence following Kirk’s assassination on Sept. 10. Cuomo, on his podcastaccused the left of making the inflammatory claim about who is “more violent” as “clickbait.”

Watch:

Cuomo says in part:

This game of the battle to the bottom of which side is worse. You guys are literally debating who’s more violent, the right or the left. ‘There is no statistical evidence that the left is anywhere near as violent in politics. The ADL [Anti-Defamation League], everybody’ — that’s your argument? Right after Charlie Kirk was shot in the neck by a guy who thought he was standing up for his trans lover? He just shot him in the neck.

You’re going to make the case that it’s all about the right? How stupid do you have to be? It’s not about stupidity. It’s about convenience,” he continued. “You’re so desperate for clickbait. You’re so desperate to be relevant, to be in the mix that you say whatever is going to get you the clicks. Change the game. Change the game.

Note that Chris Cuomo never has been and never will be any friend to the right. He's slamming the far left for trying to obfuscate the obvious, but he's advocating more for a change in tactics than a change in politics. Of course, part of the change he's angling for is for the nutcase left to stop trying to kill people, so on balance, we'll take it.

The recent rash of political assassinations and assassination attempts has all been perpetrated by people on the nutcase left. The two attempts on President Trump, the recent attack on ICE agents in Texas, and, of course, the assassination of Charlie Kirk - all perpetrated by nutcase leftists. The calls for violence, the comparing ICE agents to the Gestapo, to Nazis - all coming from nutcase leftists.

As the Daily Caller calls out:

Even The Atlantic acknowledged on Tuesday that left-wing violence has spiraled out of control since President Donald Trump entered the political realm in 2016.

The outlet compiled a data set of 750 attacks between Jan. 1, 1994, to July 4, 2025, and found that left-wing terror attacks were presently outnumbering violence from the political right. Far-left extremists accounted for five terrorist attacks or attempted attacks by July 4, which put 2025 on pace to be the most violent year for the political left in over 30 years.

The most violent year for the political left in over 30 years. And if you look at what's going on in leftist echo chambers like Bluesky, on college campuses, and so on, well, the inexcusable conclusion is that things are going to get worse before they get better.

As for the nutcase left, they are almost certainly deaf to Chris Cuomo's criticism. I would not be surprised to see things get worse before they get better. If the far-left really wants open conflict with the right, they are all too likely to get it - and they will not be happy with how it turns out.

Editor's Note: The mainstream media continues to deflect, gaslight, spin, and lie about President Trump, his administration, and conservatives.
