NextImg:NEW: Tucker Carlson Interview Reveals Joe Biden Was Part of Devon Archer and Hunter Biden's Business Partnership

Tucker Carlson’s latest interview is out, and it’s a big one – his guest is none other than Devon Archer, former business partner of Hunter Biden – and Joe Biden, according to strong insinuations in the interview. Tucker announced at the end of this clip there will be a longer interview, which is sure to be explosive.

What were the specific skills Hunter brought to clients, Tucker asked?

At the end of the day, he had a career in Washington, graduated Yale Law School, and had a very big network in D.C., and brought that know-how and understanding of DC, and ultimately the Biden brand.

While Hunter has a law degree, he wasn’t providing legal services to clients, Archer said.

Tucker then asked if Hunter would have been in those businesses without his father being in a government position.

It’s hard to speculate in those regards…

I think when we initially met and he talked about his advisory business as business that needed to transition from lobbying to advisory and the interest in private equity, it seemed like a new and interesting network for us to expand our business. Whether he could have been in that position, it’s hard for me to speculate. Obviously the brand of Biden adds a lot of power when your dad’s Vice President.

And what did Hunter say he was going to bring to the private equity partnership?

The initial idea around the business is they were going to provide the government insight and an additional network to raise capital and then, you know, deal with regulatory issues that you might have at the corporate level.

Would those regulatory issues include things like getting CFIUS approval for the sale of U.S. stealth technology to a Chinese military-owned and controlled joint venture that ultimately sent millions of dollars to both the Biden and Kerry families?

Hunter’s expertise was not in regulatory issues, Archer said:

I think that he led a team that had a sophisticated [understanding of regulatory issues]….

You’ve gotta be an expert in knowing the guy, and he was an expert in knowing the guy.

Who’s “the guy,” Tucker asks? Archer lists a number of relatives Hunter had access to, including Joe – and Beau, when he was alive (and was Delaware Attorney General, an important state for corporations).

Archer confirmed that what Hunter was offering was access:

Understanding the regulatory environment means selling access, at the end of the day.

A great quote summing up what ultimately happened with Hunter’s businesses (but leaving out the hookers and blow part):

I think what we ran into, and what Hunter ran into, was almost like an Icarus issue….

It left a wake of a lot of destruction in business over a number of years.

Tucker showed Archer a letter then-Vice President Biden sent to Archer in January 2011, right after a state visit by Chinese president Hu Jintao.

What was he thanking you for?

It was kinda the beginning of our partnership, and he was thanking me and thanking Hunter, I think, at the end of the day for bringing the idea of this government regulatory/strategic advisory business into the private equity world. And I think he was excited about the prospects for Hunter and, you know, he was just…just thanking me. It was a nice gesture.

Notice the word “our.” Archer doesn’t come right out and say that Joe was an actual part of the business and not just Hunter’s loving father, but it’s clear that’s what he means.

This exchange illuminates the issue a bit more:

TUCKER: “He’s the Vice President of the United States and he’s talking about foreign business deals with you and thanking you for that.”

ARCHER: Right….

Archer then talks a bit more about the Icarus comparison and the heavy price he paid for flying too close to the sun, and then Tucker brings the conversation back around to Joe Biden.

TUCKER: I would think as a business guy, you use every advantage. These are not business guys. This is the Vice President of the United States. He’s not allowed to be working on business deals with foreign governments while he’s Vice President, I don’t think?

ARCHER: Not that I know of.

TUCKER: But here he is.

ARCHER: Right.

Tucker ends the interview with the simple response, “Amazing.” I’d add, “Treason.”
