The House Oversight Committee has been grilling Biden team members about his cognitive decline and the autopen scandal.
We've covered some of the witnesses, including former White House physician Dr. Kevin O'Connor, Senior Advisor to Jill Biden Anthony Bernal, and Biden Deputy Chief of Staff Annie Tomasini—all of whom pled the Fifth.
Committee Chair James Comer said after O'Connor's response that added more fuel to the fire of "cover-up." Others, including Senior Advisor Neera Tanden and former Chief of Staff Ron Klain, were more forthcoming.

But the grilling of Biden's "Politburo" is exposing information from the ridiculous to the important. First, let's start with the ridiculous.
Bruce Reed's response during his closed-door interview this week. You may not believe the excuse he gave for Biden's bad performance during his debate.
Bruce Reed, 65, Biden’s former deputy chief of staff for policy, delivered a spirited defense of the 46th president’s cognitive abilities during his roughly six-hour-long transcribed interview Tuesday, The Post has learned.
“Mr. Reed claimed in his transcribed interview that Joe Biden’s debate performance was the result of his stutter,” a source familiar with Reed’s testimony told The Post.
Does he know we all watched that debate? It wasn't a stutter. If he's falling back on such nonsense, you know the Biden team is truly bereft of answers.
Reed defended Biden's cognitive ability.
“When asked whether Americans’ concerns about Joe Biden’s mental acuity were legitimate, Mr. Reed responded that he believes Americans should not have had any concerns about the President’s mental faculties.”
Too late. We already know.
He also provided a problematic take from Dr. O'Connor, according to a source.
"Mr. Reed further explained that President Biden’s physician, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, dismissed cognitive tests as 'meaningless."
That explains a lot.
Reed also blew off answering any questions from reporters in the hallway.
Reed is the ninth ex-Biden aide to come before the Committee. But Committee member Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) revealed more would likely be coming on the autopen scandal. Biggs has been sitting in on some of the interviews.
"I think what you're going to find is that Joe Biden was a wanderer in the White House, [and] that there was no communication with anybody else of authority," Biggs said on the "John Solomon Reports" podcast. "I'm talking about cabinet-level officials. All this is starting to be revealed there." [...]
Biggs said that it was very likely that Biden had no idea who was using the autopen much of the time.
"What else is going to happen is you're going to find that Joe Biden didn't know who all was running the autopen," he said. "I think you're going to find out that people were doing some things with the autopen that they absolutely had no authority to do."
Biggs said he thought that there might be criminal culpability.
He also thought the 25th Amendment should be revamped, "Because the way it is now, it incentivizes Cabinet members to protect and hide a debilitated president."
