NextImg:New: Leaked Memo Reveals Disturbing Details About Kirk Assassin, Engravings on Recovered Rounds

An email memo has been leaked that allegedly came from the ATF that includes new details about the killer who assassinated Charlie Kirk on Wednesday. The conservative activist was holding an open-air debate on a college campus in Utah when a single shot rang out, striking him in the neck. He was later pronounced dead after being rushed to the hospital.

While RedState originally decided to hold off on reporting about the email, a Thursday-morning FBI press conference confirmed several key details mentioned in it. Further, The Wall Street Journal has now confirmed the biggest revelation in the email, which deals with motive.

With that said, the original source was Steven Crowder, who was also the first to receive the Nashville transgender shooter's manifesto through a similar leak. Here's what the email he was sent, which appears to be an internal briefing sent out by the ATF, says about the situation so far.

Note: I've included my own paragraph breaks in the transcript to make it easier to read.

On September 10, 2025, at approximately 12:24PM, Conservative political influencer Charlie Kirk was shot and killed at the Utah Valley University in Orem, UT. Mr. Kirk was speaking at the University as part of the American Comeback Tour. Multiple SLC I and III agents responded immediately. The suspect fired one shot from an elevated position on a rooftop in an adjacent building on the campus and surveillance video shows the suspect, jumping off and fleeing the area on foot.

ATF and other law-enforcement located an older model imported Mauser .30-06 caliber bolt action rifle wrapped in a towel in a wooded area near the campus. The location of the firearm appears to match the suspects route of travel. The spent cartridge was still chambered in addition to three unspent rounds at the top fed magazine. All cartridges have engraved wording on them, expressing transgender and anti-fascist ideology.

An emergency trace has been submitted an ATF SLC is working leads generated by the trace. The firearm and ammunition have been taken by the FBI for DNA analysis and fingerprint impressions. Upon completion of forensics, the firearm will be disassembled for additional importer information. Multiple people of interest having contacted or detained because of eyewitness testimony and review of video footage. The primary suspect is yet to be identified. ATF is assisting the investigation with multiple other federal, state, and local partners and the case is co-led by the FBI and Utah SBI.

Let's start with what's now been confirmed by the FBI in the aforementioned presser. The email said that a bolt-action Mauser chambered in .30-06 was found in a "wooded area" near the campus. The FBI then revealed at its presser that a "high-powered, bolt-action rifle" was recovered in a "wooded area." The email said that the suspect was caught on camera "jumping off and fleeing the area on foot." The FBI presser used the same description, saying surveillance footage showed that the killer had "jumped off the building and fled off the campus."

Much of the specific language used in the email matches what was said at the FBI press conference, and that lends credibility to the email. That leads me to the biggest revelation, which is that cartridges were found at the scene with engravings "expressing transgender and anti-fascist ideology."

That was not mentioned by the FBI. Not as of this writing, at least. But Crowder is no longer out on a limb alone on that front. The Wall Street Journal, through its own sources, has corroborated that part of the story.

Conservative political activist and author Charlie Kirk has died after being shot on stage during an event at Utah Valley University. He was going back and forth with a student about mass shootings involving transgender people when he was shot, according to videos of the attack.

Investigators found ammunition engraved with transgender and antifascist ideology inside the rifle, sources said.

None of this is surprising. Kirk was an outspoken proponent of biological reality when it came to sex and gender, and transgender activists have long pegged him as an enemy. The same is true for his opposition to left-wing "anti-fascist" groups like Antifa, which Democrats have long dismissed as not a threat.

All of this leads me to believe the FBI is close to catching the shooter, and not a moment too soon. Justice must prevail here, and prevail harshly. Likewise, the federal government must go after these far-left "anti-fascist" groups that are propagating criminal activity across the country in the name of their deranged ideology.
