NextImg:New: Attack on New Hampshire Country Club, Shooter Reportedly Shouted 'Free Palestine'

The plague of left-wing violence continued on Saturday evening after a gunman opened fire at a New Hampshire country club. According to reports, at least one person was shot and killed, while others were injured due to the attendees stampeding in panic.

The shooter allegedly yelled, "Free Palestine" during the attack.

NASHUA, NH — Nashua police have one person in custody after a shooting at the Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua on Saturday night.

Multiple law enforcement agencies and first responders were sent to the scene. At least three people were taken to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center by a Bearcat. One man was reportedly shot in the face. The country club was hosting a function and people were also eating at Prime Restaurant when the gunmen entered the facility and began shooting people. A witness reported one of the men yelled, “Free Palestine,” before firing upon the guests.

A triage area was set up for the shooting victims at the Spit Brook Fire Station and East Dunstable Road. At least nine ambulances were called to the scene — several Mass. State Police troopers also arrived to assist, since part of the country club is in Massachusetts.

Astonishingly, a bystander took a chair and smashed it over the head of the killer, greatly limiting the carnage. Shortly after, police made an arrest and announced there was no longer a danger to the public.

We are still waiting on more details as far as narrowing down who exactly was targeted. The location seems oddly specific. A country club isn't the type of place a shooter wanders into randomly. It seems probable that the location was selected with intent. What we don't know is if there was a specific target at the country club, or if the shooting was meant to target whoever was in the way at that point. Some have speculated that a Jewish wedding was occurring, which would make sense given the antisemitic connotations of shouting, "Free Palestine," but that has not been confirmed.

A press conference is scheduled to happen within minutes of this article's publication. Hopefully, more information will be shared at that point that sheds more light on the situation.
